Brent Broaddus

Brent Broaddus is a 4-H youth development faculty of the University of Florida for the Southwest Extension District. Mr. Broaddus mentors 4-H Extension faculty in positive youth development, volunteer management and organizational strategies. His programmatic focus includes STEM career awareness, workforce preparedness and entrepreneurship for youth aged 5-18.

Mr. Broaddus’s research interests are in the areas of group mentor-mentee relationship quality and delinquency pathway indicators and utilizing action research theory to invoke organizational change in volunteer training systems.

Mr. Broaddus has incorporated True Colors in his junior faculty and volunteer and youth programs to provide the foundation to start deep meaningful conversations that lead to organization change. Brent has been an Extension faculty member for 20 years.
