Communication Advanced Application Certification Training (July 6th & 13th, 2023)

Effective communication is an essential ingredient for the success of any individual or organization. Our Communication Workshop first helps individuals recognize their own way of communicating and then helps them to discover how to appreciate the different communication styles of others. Our methodology facilitates better communication by teaching the distinctive ways different personalities approach communication. This is key to enhancing collaboration and decreasing conflict.
In the True Colors Communication Advanced Certification Training, you will earn to improve your individual communication skills and interaction with different personality types. You will be able to strengthen rapport, boost your listening skills, and clearly deliver your message in a mutually beneficial way. Additionally, you will gain insights on how to help your workshop attendees improve their personal performance through effective communication.

Please Note: You must have already completed the Personal Success Workshop Training and be a current and active True Colors Certified Facilitator to register for this training.
Meet the Instructor:
Dr. Bill Behrens has been a Master Trainer and Executive Trainer for True Colors since 1985. He has trained and worked with diverse educational groups including the Tennessee State Department of Education, Erie 1 BOCES, and Humboldt County Office of Education, Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District as well as many individual school sites. He has also worked with many businesses including Disney, Farmers Insurance, General Electric, Google, and Kraft Foods. On August 6, 2012, Bill was honored to receive a Life-Time Achievement Award from the International True Colors Association (ITCA) “In appreciation and recognition of his 27 years of dedicated work, training True Colors Facilitators throughout the world.”
Bill is an award-winning educator who retired in 2012 completing his 33-year career in public education as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Development in the Temecula Valley Unified School District. Bill’s master’s degree is in Organizational Development and his doctorate is in Educational Leadership. During his years of service, he was a classroom teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in the areas of math, music, and physical education. Additionally, Bill has been a principal at all three levels. He also provided district level leadership as the Director of Elementary Education, Director of Secondary Education and Coordinator of Human Resources Development. He continues the work he commenced in 1999 as a university professor at Brandman University and La Sierra University. Coursework topics include: Leadership, Professional Development, Organizational Development, Change, Communication, Teambuilding and Research Design. Bill enjoys the development of people and organizations to enhance performance. He is particularly drawn to the topics of communication and leadership.
